[SF] Enterprise AI Showcase with Snowflake and CircleCI

Sep 24 2026, 05:30 PM PDT
  • AWS Loft, 525 Market Street, San Francisco AICamp
  • 364 RSVPs
Description

Welcome to the Enterprise AI meetup in SF. We're a community for practitioners building, deploying, and scaling AI inside enterprises. We're here to tackle the hard problems: integration, deploying, governance, monitoring, security, ROI, and the messy middle between pilot and production.

Who should attend:
  • A developer, engineer, or data scientist building AI into enterprise systems
  • A tech lead or architect designing AI infrastructure and pipelines
  • A tech decision-maker evaluating, adopting, or governing AI in your organization
  • Anyone who wants to move beyond the hype and learn what actually works in production

Agenda:
- 5:30pm~6:00pm: Checkin, food and networking
- 6:00pm~6:15pm: Welcome and Community update
- 6:15pm~7:30pm: Tech talks and Q&A
- 7:30pm~8:30pm: Open discussion, Mixer and Closing.

Tech Talk : One Take: Engineering Agent Loops That Ship 100% Green PRs on the First Push
Speaker: Ryan Hamilton (Senior Developer at CircleCI)
Abstract: Most teams optimizing AI-assisted development are focused on the wrong variable: prompting harder, adding rework, dumping larger failure logs into context. The real question isn't how to fix red PRs faster. It's how to stop producing them.
In this session, I will share findings from three connected Loop Lab experiments, each using the same controlled Snake game benchmark to isolate one variable at a time. Three experiments. One benchmark. Each one isolating a single variable, and each one revealing something unexpected about where the real leverage lives in an agent loop, and what it means for cutting the cost of agentic development. Together, these experiments map a clear path from "rework is inevitable" to "rework is reserved for the unknowable." The result is a practical harness design that bakes low Merge Efficiency Ratio in from the start… and a new way to think about where validation belongs in the agent loop.

Tech Talk: Build the AI Data Stack: What Every AI Product Team Needs To Get Right
Speaker: Kamesh Sampath (Lead Developer at Snowflake)
Abstract: For decades, code separated human intent from execution. Today, software can execute directly from intent. Just as cloud engineering used Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to shift from imperative scripts to declarative state, modern AI extends this evolution through Infrastructure as Intent (IaI). This changes how we build the AI Data Stack. This session explores what happens when human expertise combines with structured intent to mentor AI systems. Grounded in my research on Intent-Driven Development (IDD) and lessons from building agentic tools, we will examine how to structure intent, measure system leverage using the Intent Compression Ratio (ICR), and turn transient prompts into durable Skills. We spent decades optimizing stacks for syntax and code. The next challenge is engineering intent.
