Tech Talk : Building a Software Factory: Your Tickets Are the Benchmark
Speaker: Nikita Pestrov, AI and Data Platform Lead at Zello | Noah Sabbavarapu (AI Engineering Intern at Zello)
Abstract: Everyone has AI coding anecdotes: one agent nailed this ticket, another lost the plot on that one. We wanted an answer, so we turned Zello's solved tickets into a benchmark. Roll the repo back to before each fix, hide the fix and its test, and make the agent solve it again.
Then we pointed the same environment at tickets nobody has solved yet. It now opens pull requests for a human to review and learns from the PR feedback. The goal: make engineers happy to see the PR. Come and learn how far we've got with this project and where the next bottlenecks are!

Tech Talk: From Iceberg to Intelligence: Your First Lakehouse Data Pipeline For AI Agents

Abstract: Your data lake holds valuable Apache Iceberg™ data, and AI-powered insights are the goal. The gap between them is a reliable ETL pipeline that transforms raw lakehouse data into something an AI agent can safely query, all while preserving Iceberg's openness.
In this session, I'll cover an Iceberg primer and build a lakehouse pipeline that connects to external Iceberg data, materializes governed data back to Iceberg, and exposes it through a semantic layer AI agents can query naturally.
