Tech talk: Building and deploying MCP servers in minutes
Speaker: Shoya Matsumori (Jinba)
Abstract: MCP lets AI assistants like Claude and Cursor connect to your tools and data. But building an MCP server usually means learning the spec, writing boilerplate, and setting up hosting. In this talk, Shoya will show how to go from idea to deployed MCP server in minutes using natural language.

Tech talk: From Manual Slog to AI Stream: Building Efficient Content Pipelines with MCP and Automation
Speaker: Kaslin Fields (Google Cloud)
Abstract: Content creators—whether podcasters or newsletter authors—often spend more time on the "logistics" of publishing than on the creative work itself. This talk explores how to reclaim hours of your week by building AI-powered assistants that excel at the heavy lifting of gathering, summarizing, and formatting information.
I will share the journey of building the Podcast Assistant MCP Server, a tool designed to automate some of the most time-consuming parts of the Kubernetes Podcast from Google workflow. By moving from a local Python script to a shareable Model Context Protocol (MCP) server deployed on Cloud Run, I transformed a personal hack into a team-wide utility that saves 1.5–2 hours per episode.
We will also compare this to LWCN (Latest Weekly Cloud Native), a newsletter tool created by Mario Fahlandt. more resources:
