Abstract: In this session, Hannah Zhao will share how computer vision can transform the way we understand and analyze sports performance. Drawing from her experience as both a software engineer and competitive tennis player, she’ll walk through the real-world challenges of video-based sports analytics — from noisy data and inconsistent lighting to real-time model optimization. Learn how her team at Index AI builds efficient pipelines using YOLO, Mediapipe, and ONNX Runtime to turn raw match footage into AI-powered highlights and insights.
