Abstract: AI is revolutionizing industries, including climate change, but it has heavy computational demands and is resource-intensive, and so is its carbon footprint. The training and inference phase of AI models, especially large-scale machine learning algorithms, consumes vast energy and hardware. In this session, we will explore the best practices and how to optimize the energy consumption of AI models.
