Abstract: Curious about how Arm developed their GitHub Copilot extension? This talk will guide you through the process, showcasing the GitHub Copilot extension and how it can help developers migrate and optimize their server applications across various Arm-based offerings in AWS (also in other cloud providers like Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, and more). You'll learn how we built this straightforward yet effective method to enhance developers experience reducing cloud spend.

Tech Talk: Evaluation-Driven Development: Best Practices and Pitfalls when building with AI
Speaker: Raza Habib (Humanloop)
Abstract: Building an AI application, RAG system, or agent involves many design choices. You have to choose between models, design prompts, expose tools to the model and build knowledge bases for RAG. If you don’t have a good evaluation in place then it’s likely you’ll waste a lot of time making changes but not actually improving performance. Post-deployment, evaluation is essential to ensure that changes don’t introduce regressions to your product. Using real world case-studies, we’ll cover how to design your evaluators and use them as part of an iterative development process. We’ll cover code-based, LLM-as-judge and human evaluators.
