We are hosting a hands-on workshop to learn how to build AI Assistants with RAG, in collaboration with Vectara. Participants who complete the workshop will receive a certificate showcasing their skills in building AI applications with RAG.
Dive into a hands-on workshop where you'll learn to build an AI Assistant leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). This session covers everything from data ingestion and corpus modeling to tuning and deploying an enterprise-ready AI assistant.
We’ll focus on practical, confidence-building exercises using Vectara's Console, APIs, and notebooks with intuitive abstractions. Along the way, you’ll gain insights into critical concepts like build vs. buy decisions, mitigating hallucinations, and addressing copyright concerns. Expect a fast-paced, interactive session with guidance on tooling, queries, and creating agentic capabilities.
What you will learn in the workshop:
- Strategies for modelling data for use in a RAG corpus with metadata
- Trade-offs regarding Chunking and Tooling layers
- End-to-end design skills needed to build an Agentic Chatbot
- Looking at an Explainable Approach to Agentic Routing w/Arize
Pre-requisites:
- You've used an LLM before (ChatGPT)
- Currently performing a data engineer, product manager or architecture related role
- A laptop
