Tech Talk: Beyond Q&A: Build Event-Driven Agents with Streaming Databases
Speaker: Mike Wang (RisingWave Labs )
Abstract: LLM-driven agents are often limited to simple question-answering tasks. Imagine agents that can continuously learn, respond to complex events, and seamlessly integrate with real-time data streams. This talk introduces you to building event-driven agents by leveraging streaming databases. Through practical examples, we’ll dive into how real-time event can empower AI agents to make timely, data-informed decisions in response to dynamic scenarios.

Tech Talk: Next-Gen AI Databases: Multi-Model, Multi-Node, and Multi-Cloud
Speaker: Ted Bai (Oceanbase)
Abstract: Discover how modern architectures leverage multi-model, hybrid workload databases to unify SQL, Key-Value, Json, and vector search capabilities into a single cohesive system for AI applications. This approach simplifies AI application development by allowing diverse data models and queries to coexist, enabling faster innovation and greater flexibility in building complex applications.

Tech Talk: Architecting Intelligence: The Evolution of AI Agents in Enterprise Strategy
Speaker: Praveen Govindaraj (Singtel)
Abstract: In this session I will discuss the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents into enterprise architecture is transforming organizational strategies and operations. AI agents—autonomous software entities capable of performing tasks, making decisions, and collaborating with humans—are evolving from simple automation tools to sophisticated systems that enhance business processes. As AI agents become integral to enterprise architecture, organizations must navigate challenges related to trust, transparency, and workforce adaptation to fully realize their transformative potential. Additionally, employing architectural patterns such as single-agent and multi-agent systems can guide the effective design and deployment of AI agents within enterprise frameworks.
