Tech Talk: GenAI with Google Gemini, LangChain and Teradata Vantage

Abstract: In this session, we’ll explore the exciting possibilities of combining generative AI with Teradata Vantage. Starting with a brief introduction to Teradata Vantage, we’ll then explore how Google Gemini can integrate with Teradata Vantage to enable a variety of impactful generative AI solutions in enterprise. The session will end with a deep dive into Retrieval-Augmented-Generation (RAG) over structured data to showcase how data intelligence tools like text-to-SQL agents are built to answer business questions such as “What was our churn this month?” or “Which product led sales in the Americas?”. With the integration of Google Gemini, LangChain’s framework, and Teradata Vantage™, we can use natural language to query data across Vantage and in external sources like Amazon S3, Google Cloud, Azure Blob, and OTF—without the need for costly data movement. These generative AI systems can empower non-technical teams to independently retrieve insights, while also acting as a productivity tool for developers.

Tech Talk: Real-World Workflows for Solving Everyday Problems with AI

Abstract: Let's be honest, integrating complex AI agents and powerful LLMs into our everyday workflows is still tricky, and we haven't truly moved beyond treating LLMs as glorified chatbots. This talk cuts through the hype and shows opinionated workflows of how to use Gemini models to solve real-world problems. We'll dive into the evolution of LLM agent frameworks (LangChain and LangGraph) and where the industry appears to be going forward. Join us to learn how to work with Gemini for simple to advanced generative AI app development, regardless of your experience level.
