Tech Talk: Coding With AI
Speaker: Dustin Carr (DarkViolet)
Abstract: Software tools for the developer have never changed as fast as they have in the last two years. There is a lot of controversy about this topic and how much it actually benefits seasoned devs. We will demonstrate that AI is a tool like any other, meaning that the more capable the coder is that is using it, the more the AI will be able to augment the output of the coder. In this talk, we will dig into the latest methods and best practices for implementing AI within your coding workflow. We will demo tools that work within the IDE (cursor) as well as other useful chat based tools (Anthropic Claude and Perplexity).
