Tech Talk: Real-time Data Analytics with LLMs
Speaker: Pete Goddard (Deephaven Data Labs)
Abstract: In today's fast-paced data landscape, the need for real-time analytics has never been more critical. Deephaven's LIVE DATAFRAMES provide a revolutionary data system designed for modern workloads, offering unparalleled performance and flexibility. Join us as we delve into the core features and benefits of Deephaven's technology, demonstrating how it enhances data workflows and supports dynamic business needs. Discover how you can leverage this powerful tool to stay ahead in a data-driven world.
Tech Talk: Multimodal Embeddings
Speaker: Frank Liu (Zilliz)
Abstract: Embeddings are crucial for analyzing unstructured data. While predominantly used for text, their application across various modalities is expanding. This shift is driven by the transition to large multimodal models (e.g., GPT-4o) and the increased adoption of applications involving recommendation and semantic search. In this talk, we'll dive into the evolution of vector embeddings, from early handcrafted features to modern multimodal embeddings. We'll end the talk with a brief demo of multimodal RAG using embeddings from three different modalities of data - images, audio, and text.
Tech Talk: How to choose a Vector DB
Speaker: Dhruv Anand (AI Northstar Tech)
Abstract: In this session, I'll go through all the features of a Vector DB that a developer should check before using it in their AI project.
