Join DataStax and Microsoft to learn how to get started and build highly-scalable, production-ready AI applications for your startup or enterprise.

Description:
In the instructor-led hands-on workshop, we’ll introduce all of the basics of your new GenAI toolkit - LLMs, embedding models, vector databases, and LLM frameworks. Next we’ll show you the easiest and fastest way to put all that theory into practice building a working Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) API in minutes! You’ll be working with Langflow to visually generate LangChain code, DataStax AstraDB and Azure OpenAI. Then we’ll be showing you how RAG can be used to enhance recommendations in e-commerce applications. Last, we’ll have an open discussion and Q&A to hear about the challenges others are facing deploying GenAI apps in their work and some of the solutions they’ve found to be effective.

During this workshop, you will learn:
- The new tools GenAI toolset;
- Building a working RAG API in minutes;
- How to enhance your ecommerce applications with RAG

Tech stack/Requirements:
- Participants will utilize DataStax Astra, Azure OpenAI, Langflow, and some third-party tools.
- GitHub account and laptop
