Tech Talk: Use cases for Speech + GenAI
Speaker: Heiko Rahmel (Microsoft)
Abstract: GenAI is providing new compelling capabilities and opportunities for enterprises. Speech enables an important modality beyond text-based interactions for GenAI based solutions. In this talk we are going to discuss ways the combination of Speech + GenAI can improve human to machine interactions, aid human to human conversations and provide insights into them.

Tech Talk: Vector Embeddings are All You Need
Speaker: Yujian Tang (Zilliz)
Abstract: 2014 was the rise of big data, 10 years later, few things have changed. Data is still the most important piece of the stack. It is just that now that we have solved a majority of our data problems, it is time to move downstream to embeddings and embedding models. Vector embeddings are the quantitative representation of qualitative data. We can use them to unlock insights previously thought unreachable. In this talk, we will cover why vector embeddings are so important in the modern AI paradigm, how you can generate them, and what they are.
