Tech Talk: What could a geospatial foundation model look like?
Speaker: Christina Last (MIT LinkedIn)
Abstract: Christina will present some of the recent research undertaken by her lab, and its broader contribution to discoverability of geospatial information. Christina will deep dive in the potential utility of geospatial foundation models, featuring use cases in climate research, defence and finance.

Tech Talk: How To Build A Self-Driving Car - a look at Robotics System Design
Speaker: Andrei Radulescu-Banu (Analytiq Hub LinkedIn)
Abstract: Sensors, control, planner, perception, mapping - how is a self-driving car built? An introduction for general engineering audiences, zeroing in on the integration of ROS (Robot Operating System) and system design principles in constructing autonomous vehicles.
