Tech Talk 1: Latent Dynamics Discovery

Abstract: When people create a model of the world, they think of objects, locations, velocities, etc... in a physics style "state" which is then rendered into the sensory inputs that an agent has. This leads to a natural question: can you efficiently and effectively invert from sensory inputs to this latent state and latent dynamics? The answer turns out to be "yes", and furthermore this appears to be easily possible with relatively low sample complexities.
