10:05 - 10:40 am: Tech Talk: Mastering the Industrial IoT with Apache StreamPipes
10:40 am - event closed

Abstract:
Emerging data-driven use cases in production often require continuous integration and analysis of sensor data to identify time-critical situations. Most tools available today require a high level of IT expertise, which is often not part of the core business of, e.g., manufacturing companies. In this presentation, we will introduce the Apache StreamPipes (incubating) project. StreamPipes (streampipes.apache.org) is an open source solution for industrial IoT data analysis, which offers non-technical users an intuitive way to easily connect and process machine data via a graphical user interface and to create increased transparency and understanding of complex manufacturing processes by using methods of Artificial Intelligence.

Dominik Riemer

Dominik Riemer, Patrick Wiener and Philipp Zehnder work as (senior) research scientists at the FZI Research Center of Information Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany. Their research interests are topics around Distributed Stream Processing, IoT and Fog Computing. Dominik, Patrick and Philipp are the original creators and PPMC members of Apache StreamPipes (incubating) an open source toolbox for the Industrial IoT
